Star Crunch Reese’s (Easy No-Bake Copycat)
Introduction

Star crunch Reese’s is what happens when the chewy caramel crunch of Star Crunch meets creamy peanut butter and chocolate.
I’ve made this recipe multiple times, and the goal was always the same:
keep the crunch, keep the chew, and don’t let the peanut butter overpower everything.
Most versions online are either too hard, too sweet, or messy to eat.
This one fixes that.
What Is Star Crunch Reese’s?
Star Crunch Reese’s is not an official Reese’s product.
It’s a homemade mashup inspired by:
- Little Debbie Star Crunch cookies
- Reese’s peanut butter + chocolate flavor
The result is a no-bake treat that’s:
- Chewy in the center
- Crispy from rice cereal
- Smooth on top with chocolate-peanut butter
Ingredients You’ll Need

Crunch Base
- Crisp rice cereal
- Caramel bits or soft caramels
- Butter
- Milk (optional)
Reese’s Layer
- Creamy peanut butter
- Milk chocolate chips
- Butter (optional)
- Vanilla extract (optional)
How to Make Star Crunch Reese’s
Step 1 – Melt the Caramel
- Melt caramel with butter on low heat.
- Low heat matters. High heat makes caramel hard later.
Step 2 – Add the Cereal
Fold cereal in gently.
Every piece should be coated, not smashed.
Step 3 – Shape the Bases

Press into small discs on parchment paper.
Let them cool completely before topping.
Step 4 – Make the Reese’s Layer
Melt peanut butter and chocolate together slowly.
Stir until smooth, then add vanilla.
Step 5 – Assemble

Spread the chocolate-peanut butter mixture on each base.
Chill 20–30 minutes until set.
Common Mistakes (And Fixes)
- Too hard → Caramel overheated
- Greasy top → Chocolate too hot
- Overpowering peanut butter → Reduce peanut butter by 2 tbsp
- Crumbly base → Not enough caramel
These fixes alone beat most forum recipes.
Storage & Shelf Life
- Room temp: 2–3 days (airtight)
